The Ascon’s products find an important application in the combustion control and Flue Gases Analysis. For the Flue Gases Analysis Ascon S.P.A. offers both in-situ and extraction systems. The Combustion Control is based on the measurement of the residual oxygen content in the flue gases. The O2 content represents the parameter that allows to monitor continuously the combustion process. On the basis of the O2 analysis it is possible to manually or automatically adjust the fuel and the combustion air to the burner in such a way to obtain the best air/fuel ratio and get, consequently, the maximum possible energy saving and pollution reduction. ASCOMB is the flue gases analysis and combustion control system offered by Ascon. The components of the ASCOMB series include the Zirconium Oxide Probe that can be directly inserted into the stack, or mounted in an extraction line, for the continuous measurement of the residual oxygen into the flue gases. The ASCOMB series of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (C.E.M.S.) also includes Carbon Monoxide (CO) measurement with NDIR sensors, monitors, controllers and combustion data management.
